This week, we looked back at the first chapter of Ephesians and tied the overall theme of hope and salvation to the Lord’s Supper. As believers, we have hope through Jesus Christ. God has blessed us. He chose us. He predestined us to be adopted as his children before the world was created. He redeemed us. He forgave us.
As we celebrated the Lord’s Supper, we looked at this message of hope – for the believers, we should always remember where we can from and what God has done for us. Pavel Prax shared a testimony of how God used a terrible accident a year ago to wake him up to what God wanted him to do. Although we don’t all have a similar testimony from a tragic accident, God is nonetheless still working in each of our lives.
